I’m Colleen, the creator behind Down Jolie Lane. I have always loved paper, old books, history, and the feeling of discovering something beautiful tucked away in the pages of the past. That love eventually turned into creating curated junk journal kits filled with vintage papers, book pages, ephemera, and carefully selected pieces meant to inspire creativity and imagination.

Each kit is thoughtfully assembled so that opening one feels a little like opening a treasure box — full of textures, stories, and creative possibilities.

The name Down Jolie Lane holds a very special meaning for me. It was inspired by my beloved dog, Jolie, who was a big part of my life and brought so much joy and comfort to my days. Naming this creative space after her felt like a beautiful way to keep her spirit close while building something meaningful and full of heart.

While junk journal kits are where Down Jolie Lane began, my creativity doesn’t stop there. As the business grows, you may also find other handmade crafting items, paper goods, and creative projects added along the way. I love exploring new ideas and sharing the things I create with other makers and creative souls.

My goal is simple:
To create beautiful supplies that inspire people to slow down, create something meaningful, and enjoy the magic of handmade art.
